World Angler
Michael hails from Cherokee, North Carolina. He started fishing at a very young age with his grandpa. He began fly fishing in 2011 and quickly fell in love with competitive fly fishing. Michael made FFTUSA in 2016, and has tallied up 11 FFTUSA competition medals in his career, with 3 being individual National Championship medals, one gold and two bronze. He also has a team silver and team gold. Michael has been on the World Championship team since 2018, and has competed in Italy, Tasmania, Spain, and Slovakia.
